Montana Waterfowl Hunting
Although waterfowl may not be the first thing that comes to mind when thinking about hunting in Montana, it should be! Thousands of ducks and geese congregate in the the many river valleys for a breath taking view and a target rich environment.
Our hunts will be done in layout and A frame style blinds. We will be on fresh fields every day, this helps with not educating the birds as well as getting them close for optimal decoying/shooting. Most days we will be primarily hunting for big Canada geese with a daily limit of 5 geese. There can also be some fantastic duck hunts when the weather and opportunity presents itself.

Here are some things to keep in mind while you are packing for your hunt Layout blinds have some storage space behind the back rest for a small bag/coat etc. Layouts provide some protection from the elements but they are by no means “weatherproof.”
